[Changes in the ECG ventricular gradient before and after the drug therapy of thyrotoxicosis]
Abstract:
In 57 patients with moderate and severe thyrotoxicosis the ventricular ECG gradient was examined. A direct significant correlation between the change in the size and localization of the ventricular gradient and A vector of the T wave was noted, indicating the primary disorder of the myocardial repolarization in these patients. The study on the ventricular gradient projection in humans with thyrotoxicosis allows one to obtain an additional information on electrocardiographic changes in these patients.
