Abstract:
A convenient method, based on high-performance Liquid chromatography (HPLC) is described for the analysis of multiple forms of cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase. The method has a better resolution; in the same time it is drastically more rapid than the conventional chromatography on CM-Sephadex. The results suggest that transition forms arising from the heat denaturation of the enzyme can be detected by HPLC.
