Fentiazac in postsurgical dental pain

The analgesic effects of a 200-mg oral dose of fentiazac were examined in 49 patients, ranging from 11 to 52 years of age, who had undergone painful dental surgery. Patients' subjective observations of the drug's analgesic effects were obtained by means of a questionnaire in which the intensity of pain and the alleviation of pain were evaluated at various intervals from zero to eight hours after administration of the drug. The study confirmed the drug's tolerability and effectiveness in alleviating pain.
