Abstract:
The computed tomographic (CT) appearance of pancreatic infarction has not been described previously. We report a case in which pancreatic infarction associated with multiple visceral infarcts was detected by CT. In addition, CT revealed extensive, progressive arterial and venous thrombosis due to the patient's known deficiency of antithrombin III.
