    Background:

    • Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is a common condition in children.
    • Identifying associated bladder dysfunction is critical for effective management.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the urodynamic findings in patients with primary vesicoureteral reflux.
    • To determine the prevalence of bladder dysfunction in this cohort.

    Main Methods:

    • Urodynamic studies were performed on 41 patients diagnosed with primary VUR.
    • Analysis focused on reservoir and micturition parameters.

    Main Results:

    • Only 4 out of 41 patients (9.7%) exhibited normal urodynamic findings.
    • The majority of patients demonstrated reservoir and/or micturition dysfunctions.

    Conclusions:

    • Primary VUR is frequently associated with significant urodynamic abnormalities.
    • Comprehensive urodynamic evaluation is essential for all patients with VUR.
