The frequency of carcinoma in Crohn's disease

An operated case of cancer in the small bowel associated with Crohn's disease is reported. The patient had been treated for ulcerative colitis from 16 till 32 years of age. Attention is called to the danger of carcinoma in cases of Crohn's disease that manifests in juvenile age. In spite of the risks, early exploration is advocated.
