Management of computergraphics in a Medical Graphics Department

Having a computer that can produce a color slide in a matter of minutes sounds terrific! But in actuality, this capability is only the tip of the iceberg. Attention must be paid to preparing the physical site, hiring appropriate personnel, preparing to meet clients, and being able to track jobs from intake through delivery of finished slides and prints. It is also important that charges for the computer artwork be simple and appropriate. An organized, coordinated effort is required for successful management of this seemingly unwieldy tool for artists.
