Abstract:
I have described a patient with multiple myeloma in whom Kaposi's sarcoma of the skin developed during treatment with an alkylating agent. The association of a plasma cell dyscrasia, such as multiple myeloma, and Kaposi's sarcoma is uncommon. The possible role of angiogenesis in deranged immunologic responses is addressed.
