    Background:

    • Demyelination is a key feature of various neurological disorders.
    • The complement system, a crucial part of innate immunity, can be activated via classical or alternative pathways.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the role of complement system activation in demyelination using in vitro mouse cerebellum cultures.
    • To determine the specific complement pathway(s) involved in serum-induced demyelination.
