    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess the mutagenic potential of tetrachlorvinphos.
    • To investigate its effects on bacterial reverse gene mutation and yeast gene conversion.

    Main Methods:

    • Bacterial mutagenicity assays using Escherichia coli and Salmonella typhimurium strains.
    • In vitro assays with and without rat/mouse liver S9 fractions.
    • Yeast mitotic gene conversion assays with Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
