[Treatment procedure with surgical patients with acute renal insufficiency]

The results of the treatment of 49 cases of surgical diseases complicated with acute renal insufficiency are presented. The lethality was 36.8%. The effectiveness of the treatment depends upon proper time and a radical character of a surgical intervention. Preoperative treatment includes an active hemodialysis aimed at the arrest of uremic intoxication. Cardiovascular insufficiency does not make a contraindication for hemodialysis.
