Effect of protein depletion on skin graft "take" in rats

Protein malnutrition, with reduction of serum albumin from a normal level of 3.3 gm/dl to a 6-week depleted value of 2.1 gm/dl, does not appear to adversely affect the "take" of rat full-thickness skin grafts.
