Ocular complications of electroconvulsive therapy.

    Summary

    Multiple cardioversion and electroconvulsive therapy shocks can disrupt the iris pigment epithelium, leading to pigment debris deposition in various eye structures. This ocular finding was also noted in a patient with electrical injury from an electrified fence.
