    • Progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS) is a multisystem autoimmune disease.
    • Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common complaint with multifactorial causes.

    • Five male patients with PSS presented with ED as a primary symptom.
    • Standard endocrine, urologic, and psychiatric assessments did not identify other causes for ED.

    Findings:

    • ED was the significant initial feature in these PSS patients.
    • No alternative etiology for impotence was found in the evaluated patients.

    • Male erectile dysfunction may be an unrecognized manifestation of systemic sclerosis.
