    Summary

    The Jenkins Activity Survey (JAS) and Bortner Questionnaire reliably measure Type A behavior in middle-aged men. Both instruments showed good psychometric properties and assessed a similar behavioral characteristic.

    • To assess the reliability and validity of two Type A behavior pattern measures: the Jenkins Activity Survey (JAS) and the Bortner Questionnaire.
