Fibronectin in foreign body-induced sarcomas and preneoplastic cells
Foreign body-induced sarcoma cells and normal fibroblasts produce fibronectin (FN), but early preneoplastic cells do not. This temporary FN repression is linked to specific cell characteristics during early tumor development.
