    Summary

    Economical yeast enzymic hydrolyzate and corn extract support high urease biosynthesis in Staphylococcus saprophyticus. Optimal conditions include pH 6.0-7.0 and 37°C, with ethanol precipitation enhancing enzyme isolation.
