A simple method for reversal of gastric partitioning

Gastric partitioning for morbid obesity must be operatively reserved occasionally for mechanical or psychiatric reasons. In this report, a simple technique is discussed for gastroplasty takedown, based upon an anterior gastrogastrostomy which bypasses the original staple line. The procedure can be effectively used after both transverse and vertical partitioning.
