Unilateral rheumatoid arthritis in hemiplegia
Abstract:
Rheumatoid arthritis is generally a symmetrical polyarthritis characteristically involving small joints. Unilateral disease may occur when limbs are protected by a neurologic defect. Unilateral rheumatoid arthritis occurring in a patient with hemiplegia is here described.
