Summary

Nephrotic syndrome (NS) significantly increases red blood cell (RBC) aggregation due to elevated fibrinogen, potentially contributing to thrombogenesis. This heightened aggregation, measured by AHT and ZSR, was independent of renal insufficiency in NS patients.
