    Summary

    A 69-year-old man with bronchial carcinoma experienced malignant pericardial effusion. Intravenous Vinblastine chemotherapy effectively resolved the effusion and tamponade symptoms without adverse effects.

    • Single-agent chemotherapy with intravenous Vinblastine was administered.
    • The treatment resulted in complete resolution of the pericardial effusion.
    • No significant adverse side effects were observed during treatment.

    Implications:

    • Intravenous Vinblastine is a viable and effective treatment option for malignant pericardial effusion in bronchial carcinoma patients.
    • This approach offers a favorable safety profile, potentially improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
