    Summary

    Carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels showed slight increases with polyp appearance and small decreases after polyp removal in a Gardner's syndrome family. Further research is needed to confirm CEA as an indicator for polyps and cancer.

    Background:

    • To investigate the correlation between carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) levels and the presence or absence of polyps and cancer in a Gardner's syndrome family.
