    Background:

    • Telangiectasia, commonly known as spider veins, are small, dilated blood vessels visible near the skin's surface.
    • Nasal telangiectasia can be a cosmetic concern, particularly when profuse and widespread.

    Observation:

    • A patient presented with numerous, distinct telangiectasias on the nose.
    • The telangiectasias occupied a significant area of the nasal surface.

    Findings:

    • Successful treatment of the nasal telangiectasias was achieved using light dermabrasion.
    • The case suggests dermabrasion is a viable option for extensive, superficial telangiectasias.

    Implications:

    • Light dermabrasion may be a beneficial therapeutic option for patients with widespread superficial telangiectasias.
    • Performing a small test patch prior to full treatment is advisable to assess patient response and minimize potential side effects.
