    Conclusions:

    • Culture medium selection significantly impacts S. mansoni morphology in vitro.
    • RPMI-1640 and McCoy's 5A Medium are recommended for S. mansoni culture.
    • Careful selection of media, controls, and sampling is vital for reliable in vitro S. mansoni experiments.
