    Background:

    • The slow acetylator phenotype is associated with altered drug metabolism.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the association between the slow acetylator phenotype and bladder cancer risk.
    • To determine if individuals with a slow acetylator phenotype exhibit greater susceptibility to developing bladder cancer.

    • The sulfamethazine method was employed to determine the acetylator phenotype.
