[Chronobiological evaluation of leukocyte curves]

Experiments on 87 dogs were performed to study a trajectory of reactive leukocytosis in response to different stimulants. The studies were carried out daily throughout 14 days after stimulation. The trajectory was found to be typical and independent of the stimulant dose, quality, administration site, or the status and species of the animal. It is suggested that this trajectory should be taken into consideration while evaluating reactive leukocytosis.
