[Murder of children]

The author analyzed from the forensic aspect 72 murders and attempted murders of children by their own mothers. In 34 instances neonates were involved and in 38 cases older children. The author investigated the time and site of the murder, the way it was performed and the causes of death. More detailed attention was also paid to the persons committing the crime, to motives which made them commit the crime and the subsequent fate of the children.
