[Early diagnosis of ovarian cancer]

The early diagnosis of ovarian cancer is a matter of chance and not a triumph of the scientific approach. The means of early detection are very limited. The physician must have a high index of suspicion, use any and all clues, and evaluate an enlarged ovary regardless of patient's age.
