Abstract:
Ureteral obstruction due to benign and malignant lesions has been managed successfully with percutaneous nephrostomy. With increasing use of percutaneous urinary diversion the attendant complications are becoming obvious. We report a case of an arteriovenous fistula discovered 10 weeks after placement of a double pigtail ureteral stent. Angiographic embolization of the fistula was successful after removal of the stent.
