    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the taste acceptance and clinical symptomatology of lactose hydrolyzed milk in both milk-intolerant and milk-tolerant individuals.
    • To compare the efficacy of lactose hydrolyzed milk against other milk formulations.

    • A 9-week double-blind, controlled study involving 14 participants (9 milk-intolerant, 5 milk-tolerant).
    • Participants consumed coded samples of skim milk, lactose hydrolyzed milk, skim milk plus glucose, or sweet acidophilus milk weekly.
