The use of in vitro methods to predict tumour response to chemotherapy
The British Journal of Cancer. Supplement
|April 1, 1980
Abstract:
Recent evidence, using in vitro methods to develop predictive tests as an aid to individualized chemotherapy, has confirmed real variations in chemosensitivity at the cellular level between different tumours. The influence this can be expected to have on patient response to treatment is considered, and some outstanding problems associated with the in vitro method are discussed.
