[Effect of the fluoridation time on the CaF2 formation on etched enamel surfaces]

Etched tooth enamel was fluoridated with 0.2 m NH4F solution. The temporal course of the formation of deposits by the reaction products was demonstrated with scanning electron microscopy and radiography. It was established that even fluoridation times of 10 minutes lead to a distinct formation of CaF2.
