Periodontosis: treatment results in 15-year-old girl

Abstract:
This case report describes the treatment of a patient with periodontosis. Surgical treatment was used on all first molar and maxillary incisor areas. Mucoperiosteal flaps were made, and, at six months, evidence of osseous regeneration and formation of new lamina dura was seen on the radiographs. This example showed that an instance of periodontosis may respond to this type of therapy.
