Oestrogen therapy in prostatic cancer

The role of oestrogen therapy in the management of prostatic cancer is reviewed with particular reference to the choice of drug, cost and selection of patients. Emphasis is placed on the difficulties of evaluation of response and the urgent need for further randomised studies to evaluate the alternative agents available.
