HLA and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

Abstract:
HLA antigens were determined in 24 patients with chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) who had had splenectomy and in 524 normal blood donors. There was no significant association of any HLA antigen in patients with ITP as compared to controls.
