Abstract:
Oral gonorrhea is not a commonly reported entity. A case of stomatitis associated with an oral Neisseria infection and concomitant with a trichomonal vaginitis in a sexually-promiscuous 30-year-old Caucasian woman is described. A second case of gonococcal pharyngitis in a 21-year-old Caucasian man is also reported. The clinical and laboratory findings, differential diagnosis, and treatment of gonococcal infections are briefly reviewed.
