Defective neutrophil chemotaxis corrected by levamisole in Crohn's disease
Abstract:
In a 26-year-old man with Crohn's disease, evaluation of the neutrophil polymorphonuclear (PMN) function showed marked impairment of chemotaxis, while NBT tests, phagocytosis, random migration and adhesiveness were all normal. PMN chemotaxis was found normal after levamisole therapy.
