    Summary

    The E molecule, composed of E alpha and E beta chains from the mouse major histocompatibility complex (MHC), can induce cell-mediated lymphocytotoxicity (CML) without prior sensitization. This reactivity targets specific determinants on the E beta chain.

    Background:

    • The mouse major histocompatibility complex (MHC), known as the H-2 complex, encodes class I and class II molecules.
