Abstract:
Percutaneous drill pulmonary biopsy was performed 41 times in 5 dogs with a 51% rate in obtaining gross pulmonary tissue and 4% mortality from endobronchial hemorrhage. This pulmonary biopsy technique was not recommended for use in the dog.
