Localization of calmodulin in rat tissues

    Summary

    Calmodulin, a key calcium-binding protein, was localized in rat tissues. It associates with glycogen in liver and muscle, and its nuclear presence increases in adrenal cells after corticotropin stimulation, suggesting a role in hormone regulation.
