[Evaluation of the ability to wear dental prostheses]

After numerous attempts to provide an endentulous patient with a dental prosthesis had failed, the insurance institution posed the fundamental question of the patient's ability to be fitted with a prosthesis. The personality of the patient in addition to the local findings and the dental prosthesis itself were included in the consideration.
