[Urinary cytology as a screening test for diagnosis of urinary bladder cancer]

Abstract:
A survey is given of the various methods of urinary cytology. The reliability in terms of specificity and sensitivity is such that cytology should be employed in all cases of urinary bladder cancer and also as an important method for screening of high-risk persons and follow-up of treated patients.
