Abstract:
The pre- and postoperative evaluation of 204 patients who underwent Marshall-Marchetti-Krantz urethrovesical suspension is analyzed. The major complication rate was 7.8 percent. In our hands, this operation has been a success. Our success rates were as follows: at 1 month 99 percent; at 1 year, 89.7 percent; at 5 years, 85.7 percent; at 10 years, 72 percent; and at 15 years, 75 percent.
