Computer discrimination of ectocervical cells: assessment of the value of spectral information
Abstract:
The recording of spectral images in two or three spectral bands brings a significant improvement in the rate of correct recognition of ectocervical cellular material. The results from discriminant analyses relying solely on spectral features and analyses where color features were excluded are compared against analyses where all features were made available.
