Abstract:
Following heterotopic osteogenesis by implantation of xenogeneic transitional epithelium in mice a biogenesis of hemopoietic tissue among induced ossicles is observed. The induced bone marrow is able to protect lethally irradiated syngeneic recipients when used in the same doses as orthotopic bone marrow.
