[Comparative experimental morphological evaluation of the complications of choledochoduodenal anastomosis]

The authors performed choledochoduodenostomy in 80 dogs with the use of two techniques of anastomosis establishment. In experimental animals, use was made of a technique designed by the authors, while in the control series M. Kh. Kamalov's operation was made. Macro- and microscopic alterations were examined in the biliary ducts, liver and anastomosis area at varying time after interventions. Statistically significant positive results were obtained in the experimental series where use was made of the new surgical technique.
