Abstract:
The composition of human fecal flora, the methods for its study, and the changes in the normal colonic flora caused by orally administered lincomycins, tetracyclins and aminoglycosides are reviewed. Recent studies concerning the effect of the benzo-diazaborine derivative CG 3401 on human fecal flora, especially Bacteroides species, are reported.
