    Background:

    • Ventricular septal defects (VSDs) are common congenital heart abnormalities.
    • Accurate identification and classification of VSDs are crucial for appropriate management.
    • Two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE) is a key non-invasive imaging modality in pediatric cardiology.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To assess the diagnostic accuracy of 2DE in identifying and classifying various types of VSDs in infants and children.
    • To correlate 2DE findings with angiographic, surgical, and pathological data.
