    Summary

    Nuclear cardiovascular studies using thallium-201 (201Tl) and technetium-99m (99mTc) show radiation levels within permissible limits. While generally lower than fluoroscopy, gonadal doses from these nuclear medicine procedures are higher than cardiac catheterization.
