[Safety procedures during cholecystectomy. Prevention of damage to the biliary tract (author's transl)]

A simple technique of cholecystectomy combining the advantages of the anterograde and retrograde approaches is reported. The technique, applicable to almost every case, makes it possible to avoid accidental damage to the biliary tract, particularly in cases of anatomical variations of the cystic duct.
